How agencies use OnePulse

Agencies make up more than a third of our client base (and we love them). Whether it’s creative, media, brand planning, or social, many agencies share one need: a self-service tool that delivers quick insights.

Agencies make up more than a third of our client base (and we love them). Whether it’s creative, media, brand planning, or social, many agencies share one need: a self-service tool that delivers quick insights.

That’s where we step in: agencies rely on OnePulse to gather consumer insights, with questions asked and answers received in minutes.

But, users quickly see that OnePulse can do much more than their initial planned uses. With its flexibility, clients end up using it in many ways—from creative testing and partnership evaluations to new business pitches, trend tracking, and more.

Here are a few ways agencies have used OnePulse:

  1. Trend tracking
One of the world’s largest agencies used OnePulse to pique their QR code curiosity. When QR codes made a surprise comeback during the pandemic, the team used OnePulse to gauge consumers’ attitudes and usage, checking how likely they were to scan. Their findings helped shape a new scannable tech solution, which uses AI to deliver compelling and memorable digital experiences.
  2. Rebranding
In another instance, the agency used OnePulse to help rebrand one of Europe’s largest rail service providers, aiming to engage a new generation of travelers. They used OnePulse to get insights into consumers’ awareness and perceptions of transportation. The 10-month brand overhaul resulted in a shortened name and a new visual identity to represent better the speed, efficiency and care that set the rail service apart from its competitors.
  3. Creative testing
When a world-famous car brand teamed up with the national governing body for one of England’s favorite sports, the agency used OnePulse to test their ads with car owners and see how the messaging resonated. They also tested various media, including videos, OOH, and display ads, to measure the creative’s likability and see how the campaign was received. This led to a consistent campaign across multiple channels.
  4. Partnership testing
A top advertising agency known for creating standout campaigns ran tests to choose the best celebrity for their client’s product. When Mr. Motivator came up as an option, the team wanted to see how memorable and emotionally impactful he still was. They found that many people still remember him fondly.

Similarly, a different client of ours—a podcast hosting and distribution platform—often pitches brand sponsorships to podcast shows. They rely on OnePulse to instil confidence in their clients and evaluate the appropriateness of these ad sponsorships for a show’s audience.
  5. New business
Many also use the platform on the spot to elevate presentations and pitches. With the answers coming in to address top concerns, clients have been presented with raw consumer opinions for that extra transparency and added wow–they–really–do–stay–on–top–factor.
